Orders can only be placed online via the Website.
2. Prices, Currency & Payment
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include all applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payment is taken at the time of order and processed securely via Shopify using payment methods supported by Shopify, including Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.
If you pay using a non-GBP card, your card issuer may apply currency conversion charges. We are not responsible for these charges.
Prices are those shown at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time; however, price changes will not affect orders already accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or refund any order where fraud, misuse of promotions, pricing errors, unauthorised payment activity or suspicious activity is reasonably suspected.
3. Availability
All products are subject to availability. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you by email and offer either a suitable alternative or a full refund, which will be processed without undue delay.
4. Order Confirmation & Security
All payments are processed securely by Shopify. We do not store card details.
You will receive an order confirmation and dispatch confirmation by email once your order has been processed.
Orders cannot always be amended or cancelled once they have entered the dispatch process.
5. Delivery
Dispatch & Delivery Times
Orders placed before 3:00pm (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 3:00pm, or on weekends or UK Bank Holidays, are dispatched on the next working day.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing a tracking link. Our current delivery partner is Amazon Shipping. Tracking updates are provided by our delivery partner and may take up to 24 hours after dispatch to become available.
We are pleased that the vast majority of orders arrive within the advertised delivery timeframe. If your order has not arrived, please allow the following delivery times from the date of dispatch before contacting our Customer Care team:
Standard Delivery: up to 7 working days
Express Delivery: up to 4 working days
Next Day Delivery: up to 2 working days
Delivery times are estimates provided by our delivery partner and are not guaranteed. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are not delivered within a reasonable time.
Risk in the goods remains with us until delivery to you, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Ownership of the goods passes to you once payment has been received in full and the goods have been delivered.
Northern Ireland & Isle of Man Delivery Surcharge
Due to additional courier costs, a £2.00 surcharge applies to all postal delivery services for orders shipped to Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man.
This surcharge will be shown at checkout before payment is taken.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available to accept the parcel, or access cannot reasonably be obtained, our delivery partner may attempt redelivery, deliver to a safe place where appropriate, or return the parcel to us.
If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect, we reserve the right to deduct reasonable return and/or re-delivery costs from any refund, or request payment of the applicable delivery charge before re-dispatch.
Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Address
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is accurate and complete.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, we reserve the right to:
deduct the cost of return and/or re-delivery postage from any refund, or
require payment of the applicable re-delivery charge before re-dispatch.
Re-delivery charges reflect our standard delivery rates:
Standard Delivery: £2.00
Express Delivery: £3.00
Next Day Delivery: £4.00
These charges represent the reasonable costs incurred and are permitted where delivery failure is due to customer error.
6. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Goods
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us at help@philipjonesjewellery.com within 48 hours of delivery, where possible. Please include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging and any visible damage.
We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Lost or Delayed Items
If your order has not arrived, please allow the delivery times stated above before contacting us.
Once the applicable delivery timeframe has passed, we will investigate the matter with Amazon Shipping or our relevant delivery partner. We may ask you to confirm that the parcel has not been received and provide any information reasonably required to assist the investigation.
Where a parcel is confirmed as lost in transit, we will provide a replacement or refund in accordance with UK consumer law.
Delivered but Not Received
Where tracking shows that an order has been delivered but you believe it has not been received, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask you to check with other members of your household, neighbours, building reception, concierge services or any safe place shown on the tracking information.
We may require up to 10 working days to complete an investigation with our delivery partner before a replacement or refund can be authorised.
Claims Time Limits
Customers are encouraged to report any loss, damage or part loss as soon as possible to allow us to investigate and submit any courier claim within the applicable timeframe.
Amazon Shipping currently requires shipper claims for lost or damaged shipments to be submitted within 60 days. To allow us sufficient time to investigate and process any claim, delivery issues should be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible and ideally no later than 30 days after the expected delivery date.
Claims reported after the courier claim period has expired may be rejected where we are no longer able to recover the loss from the delivery partner. This does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason.
To exercise this right, you must inform us before returning the goods.
Returns Policy
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day returns policy for unused items returned in their original condition and packaging.
We cannot accept returns for items that have been damaged after receipt or show signs of wear beyond reasonable inspection.
For hygiene reasons, earrings and pierced jewellery cannot be returned if hygiene seals have been broken or removed, unless the item is faulty.
Personalised, engraved or made-to-order items cannot be returned or cancelled unless faulty, incorrect or not as described.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods and will be made to the original payment method.
Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or the full order is cancelled within your statutory cancellation period.
Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described.
Returned goods remain your responsibility until received by us. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.

Stone loss is only covered where it is caused by a confirmed manufacturing defect and not by accidental damage, impact or wear and tear.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
9. Promotions & Discount Codes
Promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied retrospectively after an order has been placed.
Promotions, offers and discount codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or cancel promotions at any time.

12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.
13. Events Outside Our Control
We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, industrial action, courier network disruption, transport disruption, technical failures, customs delays, acts of government or other events outside our control.
14. Website Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the Website operates correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or product availability at all times.
