TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on https://philipjonesjewellery.com/ (the "website") and your use of the website itself.
The trade name “Philip Jones” is registered in England No: 07699915. The company's registered office address is at 48 Castle Street, Canterbury, CT1 2PY
In these terms "we" refers to Philip Jones and "you" and "your" refers to any visitor to the website or any Philip Jones customer. Philip Jones can only supply goods that are ordered online via the website and we cannot accept orders by telephone or post.
Prices & currencies accepted
All prices are shown on the website in £ sterling (GBP). All payments which will include all taxes, delivery, shipping and handling fees are processed via Shopify and only cards accepted by Shopify can make payments. Philip Jones can only accept payment in £ sterling (GBP). All currencies will be converted to GBP (£ Sterling) and you will be liable for any exchange rate charges made by your card provider. All prices are as stated on the website but Philip Jones reserves the right at any time to revise the price of goods without notice.
All goods are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. Philip Jones will contact you to arrange this via email the next working day.
Payment Details & Security
All payments to Philip Jones are handled securely by Shopify. Shopify accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Switch, and Solo (and any other card agreed by them from time to time) and PayPal. Payment will be debited from your card or account before the dispatch of the goods you have purchased. Upon processing a transaction, Philip Jones will issue you with an electronic transaction receipt which will be sent to the email address you provide. Philip Jones does not hold your credit or debit card details as all card data is processed securely by Shopify.
We will normally dispatch orders on the next working day but please allow 7 calendar days for delivery before contacting us for an order not received.
Lost or Damaged Goods
In the event that any goods are lost or damaged in transit please contact us within 24 hours of delivery via email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can open a case with the courier. In the case of non-delivery please wait 10 working days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the goods and contact us within 48 hours of receipt, where upon we will arrange for the damaged or faulty goods to be exchanged or we will provide a refund of the cost of the goods to the card the goods were purchased on.
We cannot accept a claim for loss unless 15 working days or more have passed since the item was due to be delivered (10 working days for Special Delivery Guaranteed™ items).Claims for lost/delayed items need to be submitted within 80 days of the date they were posted if the claim is being made by the sender (please note; fee refunds on Special Delivery Guaranteed™ must be claimed within 7 days of posting).
Returns & Refunds
Philip Jones is committed to providing the best customer service available. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return the unused goods to us in their original condition within 30 days of receipt. Please contact us before sending a return. Unfortunately, we cannot make a refund for goods which have been damaged by you after receipt or for tarnishing/degrading of the plating. All products come with a 12 month warranty which covers any damage that has occurred through regular use.
We will issue a refund (which will not include the costs of delivery) on receipt of unused goods. Refunds will only be made to the credit or debit card on which the purchase was made. Please include the receipt and a note saying who you are and whether you want a refund or to exchange it for a different size or colour. Send this all to us at the address below in the original packaging to:

The goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the goods using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
Your right to cancel: You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being processed by contacting our support team.
Complaints & Queries
Should you ever have cause to make a complaint, we will use all reasonable endeavours to respond within five working days.

Protecting your privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have expressly given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, and your email address. As we have already stated we do not collect or hold any credit /debit card information from you. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent and it is in your interests. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date.
If you wish, you can check the information that we hold about you at any time by emailing us and asking for details. If you find any inaccuracies we will either delete the information or correct it as required.
Philip Jones is unable to provide any warranties in relation to goods provided over and above its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1994.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Tarnishing - Although our plated jewellery is plated to a thickness higher than the industry standard this will wear off over time depending on the amount of wear, if the item has been exposed to water, moisture, or chemicals (such as perfume, hairspray etc), and how the item is stored. This is not a manufacturing fault and so we are not able to replace or refund the item for this reason.
Philip Jones Liability
Except in relation to liability for death or personal injury Philip Jones liability for negligence shall be limited to the total value of the transaction. Philip Jones shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses even if Philip Jones has previously been advised of the likelihood of such losses.
Availability of website
We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that this website does not have any problems and that the goods displayed are available. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of the website or that any goods on the website are in stock or available.
Intellectual Property Rights
The rights in the designs and the content of this website are owned by Philip Jones. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or display any part of this site without permission.
All trademarks, product names and company names or logos featured on the website are the property of their owners.
Right to Alter Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions without notice from time to time.
These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Scotland, England and Wales and by using the website you agree to submit to the exclusive of the courts of Scotland, England and Wales
We will send you an order confirmation and a dispatch notification to the email address used to place the order. We will never share or sell your email address or any other information with any other companies.
